  BLUF:I assume most that use Mondello do their own work and I am an oddity in this, as I am not a mechanic. I would willing use Mondello Performance again, though I would do so at the shop and not over the phone or through other shops. I have no doubts that Lynn and crew are the most knowledgeable in their craft dealing with Oldsmobiles. And this is why I choose to purchase on if their crated 455s.
  
  Overall, I have mixed feelings about Mondello Performance, but I acknowledge that these come from having dealt with them 3rd party through 2 other shops. Hammer Performance in El Paso, TX and Baird's Automotive in Las Cruces, NM. Neither shop had poor things to say about Mondello, but there were often disagreements about functionality and performance.
  
  I had multiple and major issues with the engine overheating and some minor vapor locking, but will not place blame on any of the shops I used as I can not tell what happened first. A chicken and the egg argument. Though, Lynn was available and spoke with the shops I was using to help fix the issues.
  
  This shop does good work. Though, I caution use if dealing with them remotely or through another party.
  
  My greatest complaint is the turn around time for parts. Lynn would send warrantied parts overnight to the requesting shops. Though it maybe 2-3 days after the shops had requested them, before the parts where shipped. There are a number of reasons this could be: available inventory, time of day of the request, ability of hired carrier, etc. In general arrival of parts seemed more delayed than needed. Though these reasons where never provided to the shops expecting the parts.
  
  As stated I would use Mondello Performance again, I expect I may have too due to my lack of knowledge. But I will do so directly, and not through a 3rd party.

  Lynn, sorry about the mixed review, but I feel the need to be honest and sincere. Your help has been very useful and appreciated. I trust your guidance and recommendations, though being inexperienced with Performance cars and getting conflicting guidance from different mechanics can be confusing and overwhelming, especially when money is involved. LOL.
